The Abidance Consulting Gap Analysis will provide you a detailed view of all requirements reviewed and their findings, a management “snap-shot” that gives a high-level overview for your upper-management and then there is a detailed report that pinpoints what is required to achieve compliance in chronological order.

The Abidance Consulting compliance team will consider evidence provided and generally determine the audit status of the evidence/documents presented and samples of audit acceptable evidence styles, structure and content will be provided to your team.

Pricing for the Gap Analysis is dependent upon the requirement(s) being reviewed (NERC, HIPAA, FISMA etc), number of facilities under review etc.

Mock Audits are similar to a Gap Analysis with one glaring difference...we conduct the audits exactly as they are done by the actual auditor(s) themselves.

Abidance Consulting uses pre-audit questionnaires, evidence lists from the governing agency (HHS, NERC, NRC, NIST etc) audit presentations and more.

Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) is an instantaneous, intense energy field that can disrupt at a distance numerous electrical systems and high technology microcircuits that are especially sensitive to power surges. A large-scale EMP effect can be produced by a single nuclear explosion detonated high in the atmosphere. This method is referred to as High-Altitude EMP (HEMP). A similar, smaller scale EMP effect can be created using non-nuclear devices with powerful batteries or reactive chemicals. This method is called High Power Microwave (HPM). Several nations, including sponsors of terrorism, may currently have a capability to use EMP as a weapon for cyberterrorism to disrupt communications and other parts of the U.S. critical infrastructure. Some equipment and weapons used by the U.S. military may be vulnerable to the effects of EMP.

Abidance Consulting offers two types of instructor-based training...custom training solutions and canned training solutions.

Custom training solutions can be designed to fit your exacting needs. We recently designed a training program for one client in New England that needed technical training for their IT staff, simplified training for the administrative staff, high-level overview for their executives and a basic understanding training for the rest of their 35,000 staff.

Canned training is a more sanitized training of a specific subject such as NERC CIP or HIPAA Privacy or NIST 800-53.

No matter what your training needs are, Abidance Consulting can deliver what you need. All attendees to our training receive certificates and a copy of the sign-in sheets for their evidence folders in the event they are required during an audit.
